Our Kindergarten program serves students in KG1,
and KG2. The preschool staff consists of qualified,
compassionate and committed individuals who
were hand selected to be a part of the BIS pre-
school team. In addition to our highly qualified
teachers, our experts include a counselor, educa-
tional psychologist, speech and language pathol-
ogist, resource room teacher, assistant principal,
and a principal. We believe that children learn in
many ways and, therefore, promise to employ a
variety of teaching methods and styles so that
children reach their full potential.

The Kindergarten program is an integral part of the school’s program and serves as the foundation
for success at BIS. We focus on the development of the whole child, both cognitively and socially.

At the Kindergarten level, children experience a developmental curriculum which stresses oral
language development, reading and writing readiness skills, acquisition of a positive self-image and
independence of thought. Preschool students’ educational experience is strengthened by special
offerings in Arabic, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Students learn through exploration, problem
solving, and play. Students also have opportunities to participate in a range of educational opportu-
nities through field trips, school-wide events, and a variety of after-school activities.
